The one at McPherson and San Isidro Pkwy too. It stopped working for about 3 seconds then all of the lights turned green on every side. One car almost T-boned another.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a patient driver in Laredo I’ve worked all over the state and Laredo has to rank up there at the top of worst drivers in the state

Thanks for the update

Patience? In Laredo? Haha. Yeah right. But thanks for the update!

Thanks GOD BLESS YOU all

Thanks

Today, the Laredo Police Department hosted two very special families from Dr. Sonrisas. Two children, Raul and Sarita, along with other family members, were met at International Bridge #1 by personnel from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. These officers assisted in the expedited processing of Raul and Sarita’s family to begin their fun filled weekend which included a tour of the Laredo Police Department, a helicopter ride for both, lunch and video games at Peter Piper Pizza and a shopping spree at Walmart Laredo - San Bernardo Ave. Sarita and Raul even attended our patrol division’s afternoon briefing as honorary police officers for the day. Tomorrow the children and their family will embark on a trip to San Antonio for more fun at Sea World.

This special day began a couple of months ago, when downtown bike patrol Officer Reyes Escamilla was first approached by Raul and his grandmother while he was responding to another call at one of the international bridges. Raul along with the grandmother told Officer Escamilla their family’s story which included a very special request from Raul- to ride a helicopter. Officer Escamilla along with his supervisor, Sgt. Christopher Baker, then did everything possible to make Raul’s wish come true.

Sgt. Baker and Officer Escamilla employed the help of the Laredo Police Department Community Relations Unit under the command of Sgt. Jeanette Tobar to begin planning a fun filled day in our city.

The Laredo Police Department would like to thank the following agencies, individuals and organizations for helping make today’s event a success and fulfilling the dreams of these two children.

Webb County Judge Tano Tijerina

Would love it but if I hear a negative response on why you don’t enforce the usage of the “blinker”, I’ll leave unhappy like the ugly bad service I got from that McDonald’s when a girl employee told me “@sshole”. So enjoy yourself & God Bless ✝️☮️
